  • Biography

    Born in 1984 (Gujarat), Abhishek studied sculpture at College of Fine Arts - Ahmedabad, followed by a PDVA from MSU Baroda.

    He focusses on how objects are connected with humans and their psychology. His work encourages viewers to experience the character of the surface and revisit lived events. He likes to use materials from a construction site, like metal scrap and cement. He is himself a master welder who learnt by watching his father weld furniture since his childhood.

    Abhishek’s large-scale work is in the collection of and at display on campus at Plaksha University in Mohali.
