My artistic practice revolves around capturing fleeting, unnoticed moments through photography, slow-motion video, image manipulation, and miniature-level observations. Using the camera in both still and moving mediums, I explore the beauty hidden in the ordinary—a beauty often overlooked due to passive reflection and routine familiarity.
In our everyday lives, we often distinguish between intentional actions and accidental occurrences. When someone takes time to perform an act, we see purpose and deliberation. Conversely, when something happens suddenly, we perceive it as an accident. My work aims to challenge these perceptions by drawing attention to moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Through photography, I transform seemingly insignificant details into visual stories. This process allows me to highlight subtle movements, shapes, and forms, elevating them into moments of significance. By slowing down time and focusing on these fragments of life, I aim to create an alternative narrative—one that reveals the extraordinary within the ordinary.
Art is often understood as something tangible: a painting, a sculpture, a building, or a photograph. However, every act of seeing is inherently a visual judgment, shaped by how we perceive the world around us. My work invites viewers to pause, observe, and reimagine the familiar with a renewed sense of wonder.
In essence, my practice is a celebration of unnoticed beauty—an attempt to slow down time and bring attention to the delicate, often overlooked poetry of daily life.
