Krupali Maraviya

Krupali Maraviya

Born in Gujarat in 1998, Krupali completed her post-graduation in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at M.S. University of Baroda in 2024. Krupali’s art explores the interplay between geometric forms, shapes, lines, and dots, reflecting both the boundaries we live within and the infinite spaces we seek. Her practice delves into the subtle movements within landscapes, aiming to bridge the vastness of the external world with her inner experiences.
Inspired by children’s art and her engineering background, she employs a wash technique to create textured surfaces, further exploring them with lines and geometric forms to evoke a sense of calmness and subtle unease. She has participated in several group shows, including ‘Pushpbaug’ at Anant Art Gallery in 2024 and Abir First Take in 2023. She attended the Monsoon Residency Program at Art Hissa in Surat in 2022 and the ‘Something Useful Project’ residency in the UK in 2019. Her works are part of the collection at Sarjan Art Gallery, Baroda
