KM. Khushboo, born in 2001 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, began her artistic journey with a focus on painting at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (2018–2022). Toward the end of her studies, she transitioned to printmaking and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Graphic Arts at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat (2022–2024). Her primary mediums include etching, drypoint, and woodcut techniques.
Khushboo’s work is a philosophical exploration of existence, investigating the tension between material impermanence and the enduring concept of “Death” as an ultimate truth. Through her art, she explores themes of human experience and the relationship between the physical body and the absolute, often portraying cycles of glorification and decay as reflections of life’s transience.
Over time, her approach has evolved from self-expression to a deeper embodiment of the self within her work, allowing for an intuitive and immersive creative process where the distinction between artist and art begins to dissolve.
