SNK commissioned us to develop the art for the office of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. This beautiful old building was being renovated and art was a very important component – we were required to create over 150 pieces over 6 months – many of them large over 12 feet. This project was delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While there were a few delays – our artists worked through the lockdown – the revenue was a huge assistance to them during this time.

The idea of sustainability, which played a key role in BPCL’s philosophy, was brought in by sustainable artworks, custom curated and made by Indian artists and craftsmen.

“Collaborating with Gayatri and her team at Art Pilgrim resulted in the creation of a unique curated collection of works. It also gave us the opportunity to support and bring awareness of the incredible diversity, beauty  and  skill of Indian artists. Conceptualising ideas that would create a common theme across the collection was a very special process and Gayatri ensured the quality, artistic language and creativity of the artists was continuously nurtured and prevalent.”
