This artwork traces the metamorphosis of a natural material into a manufactured object, moving from organic growth to industrial purpose. The cotton plant—long a symbol of purity and potential—is reimagined as a glove, a form shaped by human systems of labour, utility, and design. Through this transformation, the work reflects on how nature is continuously reconfigured to serve economic, social, and industrial needs.
