"This series begins with a familiar scene: me sitting in my studio, working in my sketchbook. The sketchbook is where I first capture my immediate thoughts. As my mind drifts elsewhere, my hand continues to move instinctively. I draw repeated patterns and structures, allowing the rhythm of that unconscious act to shape each thoughts.

A recurring form in the series is the square. But these squares are not made by simply drawing four lines—they emerge from a single, continuous line that flows across the page. These lines intersect and evolve, forming structures that are not fixed, but alive within the composition.

As the series progressed, I introduced stitching into the work. Threads are stitched directly into the paper, sometimes following the drawn lines, sometimes breaking away. The stitched thread becomes another kind of line—one that carries tension, texture, and fragility. At times, the thread is neat and connected; at others, it’s loose or broken, leaving traces that speak of interruption, pause, or thought left unfinished.

You can see the stitched thread as a physical expression of the same instinctive process I use while drawing. These lines—whether drawn or sewn—are not just visual elements. They are quiet expressions of thought in motion, records of how internal reflections slowly find form.

This series is not about creating a finished product. Instead, it’s about documenting a journey—where thinking and making merge, where abstract thoughts take shape through simple, repeated acts of drawing and stitching. The result is a visual diary of quiet reflection, captured line by line."
