The set of five mixed-media sculptures draws from the Pandavas of the Mahabharata, reimagined not as warriors or historical figures but as archetypal energies in a pre-natal state of becoming. Curled inward like foetuses, the forms appear suspended in the womb, evoking the very beginning of human life—before identity, action, or destiny take shape. Intricately patterned and rendered in elemental tones, the sculptures merge mythological memory with universal themes of birth, consciousness, and potentiality.

The magenta form alludes to Dharma Raj (Yudhishthira), embodying ethical consciousness, restraint, and cosmic order. In the Mahabharata, he is bound to truth and righteousness, often burdened by the weight of moral responsibility. Reimagined in a foetal, inward-curled state, the form represents ethics before experience—consciousness shaped by principle rather than impulse. The colour magenta, poised between red and blue, suggests the union of passion and wisdom, action and reflection. This figure exists as the embryo of moral awareness, carrying the quiet gravity of dharma even before birth.
